Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Dolph Ziggler sent in unannounced video messages that aired at The Roast of Ric Flair last night.

The show was part of the opening night of Starrcast V, which is largely built around Flair, including his ‘Last Match’, which takes place on Sunday.

In his message, The Rock spoke about meeting Flair as a child and being remembered by the Nature Boy years later when they met again at an NWA convention.

Ziggler talked about nights spent drinking with Flair in Florida and called him the greatest of all time.

Those in person at the event included Bully Ray, Vickie Guerrero, Diamond Dallas Page, and Torrie Wilson.

On Sunday, Flair will team with son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to take on Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett in what is being billed as the 73-year-old’s last match.
